A general purpose power supply using switch mode technology to provide excellent electrical performance. The output is controlled by the centre dial and increments in 1V steps with a maximum voltage of 12V. The device provides DC only power with a maximum current output of 3A. The DC is smoothed with low ripple noise and excellent regulation. 

The device has protected outputs which trigger under short circuit or overload conditions, these help protect the device and any attached circuit from dangerous conditions. The protection can be reset using the reset button.

The device is lightweight, compact and ergonomic in design to help with storage, transport and use. The enclosure uses the classic retro Unilab design making it robust and strong.
