Radioactive storage cabinet for use with low level radioactive materials.

Manufactured from 1.2mm Zintec coated sheet steel for excellent corrosion resistance. Spot welded seams with gas welded corner joints.

One fixed, half depth shelf and plastic contents spray. Tray

  • Tray Dimensions: 310 x 240 x 20mm

Labelled for easy identification.

Secure locking mechanism, 2 keys provided, and louvered door.

Finished in grey, polyester powder coat.

The dimensions of the cupboard are such that assuming a maximum stock of 30µCi in the form of Co60 is kept on the shelf, the dose rate at the surface of the door would be less than 0.5 mR/hr. A rectangular plastic tray is provided to contain any spillages.

The storage unit is designed to prevent environmental pollution and provide secure storage for low level radioactive substance.

The cupboard is provided with small fixing holes so that it may be screwed to a wall. It is recommended that it is sited away from normally occupied areas and that its back is against or attached to a wall.
